I'm a student. Which document(s) do you need?

I'm a student and I'll sign a campus contract
Are you a student and are you going to live in a room or self-contained accommodation with a campus contract? Please check if your study is authorized and upload one of these documents: an official message from DUO or an official proof of enrolment from your educational institution stating that you are a full-time student. Some pre-masters are full-time too. Your upload must contain the following information: your personal details, the current academic year, the statement that you are full-time enrolled and - in case of a proof of enrolment - a (digital) sign or stamp from your educational institution.

It could be that your study hasn't started yet; if that's the case, your study should start within two months after the start of your rental agreement. However, there is one exception period where there may be slightly more space in between; when you accept SSH accommodation for the first time and the rental agreement starts between the 1st of June and the 1st of September, you may upload your provisional proof of enrolment. Please note that there shouldn't be any reservations on the document; for example passing your high school exams, officially confirming your choice of study via Osiris, etc. Educational institutions usually provide a provisional proof of enrolment after the exam results have been received.

In addition to part-time students, this guideline also applies to students doing a pre-master's program that is not full-time, as well as for students with a dual study.

Not a student any more? And are you going to live in an accommodation without a campus contract, but with - for example - a youth contract or temporary contract? Please first check if your annual income matches the rental price of your accommodation. If yes, upload the final assessment of your income tax or an income statement from the Dutch Tax Authorities of the past two years. Is your income not sufficient according to this statement, but did your income change (positively) in the meantime? Then please upload your three most recent payslips as well. When checking these payslips, we have a look at the taxable income. We'll multiply that by 12 months and add 8% holiday allowance. If there's a thirteenth month, this is also included.

Are you self-employed (ZZP'er in Dutch)? Please upload an income statement from the Dutch Tax Authorities for the past two years. Is your income not sufficient according to this statement, but did your income change (positively) in the meantime? Please also fill out the 'prognose ondernemersinkomen' for the current calendar year. This must be issued and signed by an independent and knowledgeable accountant, bookkeeper or administrator.
