Long Stay VS Short Stay

We have two types of rental offer: Long Stay and Short Stay. Let's have a look at the differences:

Based on registration time, including introduction night or viewing 'First come, first serve' at specific booking data, but you need an approval from your (educational) institution

Utrecht a.e., Rotterdam, Zwolle, Tilburg, Amersfoort, Groningen
Please note: long stay in Groningen is only for international PhD students

Rental agreement

Campus contract (based on proof of enrolment or PhD contract) or youth contract (based on income)Fixed term contract,

Registration

20 euro one-timeFor free
Age limit regarding registrationMinimum 16 years, maximum 27 years. PhD students in Groningen and Tilburg can register up to 32 years.No minimum or maximum age to register. In some instances, your (educational) institution has set up an age restriction.

Please note that you cannot use a Short Stay registration for Long Stay housing and vice versa.
