How to get a landlord statement?

If you are moving, your new landlord could ask for a ‘statement of good tenancy’ or 'landlord statement' (in Dutch: verklaring goed huurderschap). You can request this during and after your rental period via My SSH, tab 'My documents'. Our system will check rent arrears and nuisance, and the download will show the result of this check. Do you have rent arrears? Then pay via 'My payments' and download the statement again. Does the download state a nuisance situation, but don't you agree? Then contact us, and we'll take a look.

Is it required for municipal registration? 

No, this kind of statement is not required for municipal registration. 

Municipality of Rotterdam does require a landlord statement; how does that work?

If you are going to live in Rotterdam, the Municipality of Rotterdam requires a specific landlord statement when you register at your new address. This statement is already included in your rental agreement. Please note that you must register with the municipality within 3 months of the date on the landlord statement. Has your landlord statement expired? Please contact us, and we can provide you with a new statement.
