Departure and key drop

This article only applies to Short Stay buildings equipped with a physical key (no phone key!). Click here to find more information about the difference between Long Stay and Short Stay housing.

Soon you will leave the Netherlands. Before you leave, you must plan a mandatory pre-check with this form. Are you PhD/Staff/Guest who live at a self-contained studio at Kriekenpitplein, Campusplein, Nieuwegracht and Upsilon? Then please note that this form does not apply to you. You will be informed about your departure in a different procedure, approximately two weeks before your end date.

Rotterdam

Building	Where to drop your keys	Garbage collection
Hatta	Mailbox located at the entrance at ground floor with the sign ‘Huismeester’ (section 342 nearby all other mailboxes).	Please dispose your items in the right waste containers in the garbage area.
Overhoningen	SSH's key box in the main entrance hall of the building, across the elevator. Please put the key in an envelope with name an address.	in front of the parking lot of d’Blaauwe Molen you find garbage disposal for general waste, paper, and glass. Remove all items that aren’t part of the inventory. In case items are left in your room/apartment, removal costs of minimum €150 will be charged.
d'Blaauwe Molen	SSH's key box in the main entrance hall of the building, across the elevator. Please put the key in an envelope with name an address. F-Building	mailbox at the Hatta building, located at the entrance, with the sign ‘Huismeester’ (section 342 nearby all other mailboxes).

Utrecht

Building	Where to drop your keys	Garbage
Johanna	Mailbox #29, where all other mailboxes are located near the entrance. Please label your keys or put it in an envelope.
Cambridgelaan	mailbox located near the right side of the building (looking from the street side). Walk past the right entrance door until you see a black door with ‘Short Stay keybox’ sign. Please label your keys or put it in an envelope with the address.
Bisschoppen	Most bottom right mailbox of the building, with an SSH sticker (next to mailbox #302, below mailbox #310). Please label your keys or put it in an envelope with the address.
Kruisstraat	Keybox located in the main hall on the ground floor. There’s a black key box on the right side of the entrance of Kruisstraat 101-121. Please label your keys or put it in an envelope with the address.
Warande	SSH’s caretaker’s office located at #14A. You can put the keys through the mailbox of the door. Please label your keys or put it in an envelope with the address.
De Sterren	Caretaker’s office (you can put it in the mailbox of the door). The office is located right across the vending machines. Please label your keys or put it in an envelope with the address.
UCU	Keys can be returned to the mailbox of the Landlady, located at the mailboxes in the dining hall area. Her postbox number is 606. Do not forget to label your key
Alexander Numankade 1 and Predikherestraat 19a	Please return your keys at SSH's main office. The address is Plompetorengracht 9. Put your keys in a sealed envelope with the following information: Your name, address, and room number. You can put the keys either in the mailbox, or give them to the reception within office hours.

Groningen

Building	Where to drop your keys	Garbage
Upsilon	Black key box next to SSH caretaker’s office on the ground floor.
Blekerslaan	Key box located on the main floor, across the elevator.
Moesstraat 8	key box located next to the elevator on the ground floor.
Moesstraat 16	Key box located in the main entrance hall next to the kitchen.
Winschoterdiep	You can hand the keys personally to your Property Manager at the office of Winschotendiep or you can put it in the key box located in the main hall below the whiteboard. Do not forget to label your keys.
Albertine Agnesplein	Key box downstairs in the hallway near the main entrance.
Cornus	Please return your keys directly to a SSH staff member. If this is not possible, you may drop the keys in the key box at your own risk. The white key box is located on the wall of the office at the ground floor (hallway) of the Cornus building
Proxima	You have a phone key, we will deactivate your access at 10:00 AM on the last day of your rental agreement.

Zwolle

Talentenplein	Mailbox with SSH stickers located in the hallway of the blue building. It’s the mailbox right below #407.

Tilburg

TalentSquare	Please leave the keys in our key box which is located on the right-side of the SSH office (see picture below). Make sure the electronic blue key and the mailbox key are attached with a key chain to each other. Please do not put your keys in an envelope!
